This is the second week of the London Design Festival and although the weather has been abysmal, the design scene has been hot on its heels! There have been pop-up stores going up all over London, London FashionWeek has been on, there have been hundreds of talks and shops have had their doors wide open. All of this has been an amazing opportunity for the public to take a step into the world of design. We headed down to Top Drawer for their trade show last Friday and browsed around scouting for new artists and designers to snatch up!
TUK Store, another East London-based business and one of the stores we supply prints for, had a late showing last night, giving the people of Shoreditch a chance to experience their creative hotspot. TUK Store is a collaborative space which showcases creativity throughout the spectrum of design giving a platform to independent designers, artists and photographers. All of their profits go directly towards TUK, their community interest company which funds courses of counselling, psychotherapy and complementary healthcare for people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. East End Prints have loved selling through this store as we enjoy keeping things local and their customers seem to love us too!
Look out for TUK CIC store, opposite the trendy Tramshed restaurant at 47 Rivington Street, EC2A 3QB.
