New talent from up North.. Launch of new artwork at the East London Design Show 5-8th Dec 2013

Launching New Paper Cuts at EAST LONDON DESIGN SHOW

This week EAST END PRINTS returns to the East London Design Show where we will be showcasing a lively new range of original artwork all based on the ‘London’ theme. This year we have introduced beautiful cut-outs by Katie King and Lee Haydock
We are so excited to be show casing Katie’s work as this will be the first time she will be exhibiting. We have commissioned her to produce a range of London based cut-outs and what she came back to us with is breath-taking! She has played with the London transport systems iconic symbols focussing on our beloved East End.
Lee Haydock is a passionate art graduate from Blackpool and the Fylde College who loves to tell a story in the form of paper cut-outs. His work is based on the buildings of the East End. Lee’s inspiration for the paper-cut style he uses comes from the cartoons he loved while growing up.
Both of these artists were discovered at the D&AD New Blood exhibition. We are confident that the crowds will receive their fresh work just as well as we have.
Make sure you come along to the East London Design Show; 5-8 December. Look out for us on stall 113. £5 entrance/£3 concessions, free for under 15. At The Old Truman Brewery, off Brick Lane, E1. Entrance on Hanbury Street.
