I use Pinterest to find new graphic art talent and to keep a record of great things I have come across as well as promoting our new print range online at EAST END PRINTS.
EAST END PRINTS is proud to support Pinterest in its UK launch.
Being a personal addict of Pinterest, I have discovered its practical use for client presentations.
If you work with images, it really is the tool you have always needed...and no advertising flashing in your face..hooray! I wish I had come up with this idea! Pinterest is so simple and user friendly. In a visually led society, all information can be made interesting with new info graphics websites popping up - even plumbers could maximise their web traffic by pinning a clever bit of info graphics.
Did you know only 20% of pinners actually pin? Everyone else is just grazing, so there is plenty of room to get less seen content to a wider audience.
I have cut down on hundreds of miscellaneous folders of jpeg images - where sometimes the weblink can be lost and you only have a file name.
Anyway, get pinning! I can't sing its praises enough finding new artists, pinning trends, colours and style ideas.
Check out my public boards - a collection of the great graphic art I have found on my travels -this could be vintage, type, illustration - but its always bright and fun! I LOVE the way a board can make you very aware of your own aesthetic and how unique that vision is.
